I am happy you are considering BlackSheep for your special day on the water. I want to offer a charter experience based on inputs from you. I’d like for your vacation to feel more like “coming to stay with friends who has a boat in the Virgin Islands”. The more input and communication from you, the better the experience will be.
PACKING TIPS
A very good tip is “pack light” for the USVI.
It’s all about the sun, sand, and water! Shorts, t-shirts, tanks, swimsuits, wraps, hats, caps, beach shoes and towels are perfect!
For our term charters, we encourage that every guest, young and old, travel with soft style luggage, rather than hard suitcases (which are not easy to store on any boat). Soft fold-down luggage and duffel bags are highly recommended.
If you would like to wear boat shoes, we recommend they remain onboard for the duration of the charter.
- In winter time (NOV thru MAR), the evenings can occasionally get coolish. We suggest you bring a couple of long sleeve tops.
- In the unlikely event your luggage arrives after you arrive, we recommend that you pack any important medications and small toiletries items in your carry on bag. A swimsuit is also a good idea. The airport will assist in arranging to deliver your luggage to the most convenient pick up location.
Please be sure to mark your luggage with the BlackSheep charters address: TBD
